Right now GTA Chinatown Wars is highest rated ds game (according to game rankings).
So do you think it will be highest rated or at least AAA on gamer rankings?
I personally think it will be AAA but it wont be highest rated.

Hey. I have played GTA Chinatown Wars, and it's awesome, it also reached #1 most highest rated game in all of Gamespot. Although it's very impresive, scribblenauts has been given a ton of awards and it isn't even released yet! I can definitely say that Scribblenauts will be a hard punch to GTA Chinatown Wars. Maybe there will be a competition. Who will win?
Reviewers may say it is to easy or complain about coontroling Maxwell.
And it probably wont be rated better than GTA on gamespot, because that means it has to get a 10.
Let's not be getting out of hand here, that game looks good, but not highest rated DS game worthy per-se.
Reviews on the Run gave it a 7.5 and a 7 out of 10. I'd post the link but apparently I'm the only one that's seen the episode in the entire world. And yes, it did come out before the game, don't ask me why, I ain't BSin' ya.Pyro767That review was of a preview version of a game and not the final product so they took back the review back.
They even admit their mistake here: http://bb.elecplay.com/viewtopic.php?t=11541
Why's that? There is no way it will be the highest rated DS game.

And why's that? :P I think it has a chance.Let's not be getting out of hand here, that game looks good, but not highest rated DS game worthy per-se.

GTA Chinatown Wars is overrated! *runs away from angry DS mob!*
And no, I never played it. :P
Just was never interested.
And back to the topic....doubt it. Scribblenauts will not score 10s, IMO. A few 9'ish scores, and a few 8's I predict. And maybe a few reviewers will be overly harsh and give 7s or 6s.
I have a feeling whoever reviews this game will find some flaw that will bring it down to the point where it won't be rated any higher than GTA.
Gamespot reviewers are like that.
They give PS3 and 360 games 10's but they have never given aFirst Party Wii game a 10.
And the only reason GTA:CW got so high is because it's GTA. >_>
I think it has the potential to be number one, if not it's going to sit right by it in a close #2. The game itself is packed with originality and depth, that's somethign games rarely show these days.
What does being first party have to do with anything? Both MGS4 and GTA IV were developed by third party companies. Mario Galaxy beat out the competiton for GOTY...even last year a DS game (TWEWY) managed to get nominated for game of the year. Anyway, if the game manages to provide a decent challenge either in the later levels or overall, I think this is going to be the best DS game to date.Gamespot reviewers are like that.

It probably won't beat GTA: Chinatown Wars.
It will get an 8.0-9.0 from everywhere, and get a 7.0-8.0 from Gamespot (I'm guessing).

I think this game is going to be amazing. It may not have the killing of hookers and cops, the stealing of cars, or the drug smuggling, but this game is one of the most creative I've ever witnessed. The creativity put into this game blows away a large portion of games in general. It also looks like it will be a lot of fun to mess around with the puzzles, solving them in unique ways. I think people need to be a bit more open-minded instead of basing every game ever up against Grand Theft Auto games, which really aren't the best games ever, but who cares if it's going to be the highest rated game ever? If you buy on that principle alone, your game selection is extremely limited.
Its already gotten a 10 from an Australian Nintendo magazine, despite complaints of having to move around objects and manage a small amount of space before spawning an object, other than that the item limit was the only other drawback, everything else was very positive. The reviews will probably round out as erratic depending on how imaginative the reviewer is because there is absolutely no way an individual could fully test the limits of this game.illmatic87don't mind me.i'm just trying to get more rank points. by the way scribblenauts is a very good game.i'm going to get it soon.
I highly doubt that it's going to be the highest-rated DS game. I think it won awards at E3 because of its innovation and originality and the fact that it surprised people. That alone doesn't make a game masteful, though.
That said, I could honestly not care less about the review score the game gets. I know I'm gonna have a ton of fun with it (it's already preordered), and that's all that really matters.
