I need somewhere to store some of my virtual console games, and I was wondering if there are any SD cards that aren't going to work with my wii. I heard something about large SD cards not working (4 GB or so), and was hoping someone could give me more information.

The limit is 2 gb, any higher won't work with the Wii. And you can't play VC games off of the SD cardbut you can just delete them off your Wii and re-download them.

The data transfer rate does vary on the sd cards the wii can use. A really cheap SD card could take two minutes to transfer something the 40 dollar Wii stamped SD cards could take only ten seconds to do.
