where can you get JUST a guitar for Guitar hero 3 for the wii?Wima5ter-134
Nowhere just yet. Activision is supposed to be working on that, so I would say sometime in the near future. Hopefully in February! I'm looking for a second guitar too!
i think toys r us is selling them next week (or taking pre-orders, i usually confuse the two, sorry) but i talked to a guy at gamestop and he said at the end of february.
i just checked the site: toys r us is having them shipped 2/26/2008 at a price of $59.99, $10 less than what gamestop is selling it for (again, this is based off what the guy at the gamestop told me and he said $69.99)

How did you get someone to buy a copy of Guitar Hero without the guitar? Did you tell them using the Wii remote all by itself was just as good as using the guitar?

Thats what I did. I sold my other game for like $30 on Half.com. I'm not sure why someone would buy it but people do. My guess is either they're really cheap and will just use the Wii remote or maybe they damaged or lost their disc and don't want to buy another bundle.
I suppose if you were patient and cared enough to do it, you could buy the game by itself from someone at a big discount, and then later when the guitars are available individually buy one cheap off of eBay. Doing that maybe you end up with the bundle for around $60 instead of $90? I doubt most people would go through that much trouble, but you never know who might.
