Sega knows what we want, why don't they give it to us?

Clearly people have been badgering Sega about bringing over a new Online playable Phantasy Star on the Wii. Personally, I think they are making one but are keeping it incredibly hush hush (Like a System Seller Title) because they know if one person gets wind of it, they'll make a thread and the Hype train will then be boarding, then they'll have to try to live up to people's wild, out-of-this-world expectations and when the game is released have to deal with the disappointment of the fans due to their own hype and expectations like what already has happened with numerous games (Sorry for the run-on Sentence). What are your thoughts on this matter?

The whole "people making a thread" thing was only a side rant by me, that you know is true (I mean look at Smash Bros Brawl for Example and the hypefest it was and how disappointed people were 1 month after it came out - And you know if Kid Icarus was made, most people here would be upset due to the fact that it won't be what they wanted).

The point of this thread was that Sega knows MOST of the Wii owners want Phantasy Star Online in some form or another. I for one surely do.

Most Wii owners don't even know what Phantasy Star Online is.

If there was such a demand the game would have been made by now.

A very small number of people want Phantasy Star online. If the sales from last gen mean anything then a few hundred thousand people want it at most. And that's with all of them wanting more of it.

Better a Phantasy Star Online then another piece of god damn shovelware or another crap game.

He's saying that the TC is giving too much importance to the forum, in the sense that the TC is saying that the reason Sega isn't releasing PSO is because the forum will hype it and cry about it.

Sega isn't a very good listener. At least not in regards to Sonic Team. People want a fast and speedy sonic adventure, but they give us tons of gimmicks and try too give us epic Final Fantasy inspired stories. They give us guns, swords, and werehogs. We were rejoicing when they showed the speed levels in Unleashed then the idiots added the werehog. They know what we want, but they do not give it to us.

I want a new Altered Beast, screw PSO lol

I would love to have a mmo like fantasy star or anything else on the wii. I love gaming and miss wow but don't want to get back into that, so a mmo game on wii would be great.

Sonic Team has never listened to there fans, so i don't see why it would change now since they can make mediocre games and there fans money will speak much louder than their words.
