Sorry, but the fact that you didn't know the answer to your question proves you never gave the system enough of your time to even give it a chance.

Personally, I love the Wii and XBox 360 equally, they both go together perfectly as companion gaming consoles. Hell, and I play single player 98% of the time on both consoles. You're missing out.

Getting a bit touchy cos I insulted the Wii aren't we? I just don't like the control scheme on the Wii and think the 360 has better games. What's wrong with that? I'm not allowed to voice a negative opinion of the Wii on a Wii message board?

I've played Mario and Zelda amongst a few others and they are both excellent games, but I much prefer 3PS and FPS games played with a regular pad. Not to mention sports and driving games played with a regular pad. Some of the Wii games would be better if Nintendo just released a damned normal pad to play them on.

Also, Nintendo destroyed one of the best games ever in Mario Kart by "wii-ing" all over it and making it crazy multiplayer whacky fun instead of precision powersliding and skill like the original was. I like my games to be fun, just not gimmicky fun.

I agree that the Ps1 was aimed more at kids than the N64, but I see that the Wii is aimed primarily at kids More than any system I've owned before. All I have to do is look at the overall game lineup. Also an intersting article if anyone missed it, Link.

I've packed my Wii up in it's box ready to be sold and I've just thought that there might be some personal info stored in the memory that I should've wiped first. The Gamespot forums have always been that way. If you are a level 23 user or whatever, surely you already know that? So in otherwords you are just making excuses for being a troll. Freedom of speech....is a law that applies mostly to nation states, and not even all of them - not internet forums. Internet forums are regulated in such a way that everone can participate - how do you know that there are no minors browsing this site? If you are American (and I suspect you might be, since you brought free speech up) its not as if the Patriot Act is a perfect example of liberty or freedom. I suggest you complain about that or countries with no free speech rather than complaining about not being able to deliberately offend people on a gaming forum.

Lastly, of COURSE you can disagree! Disagreement brings discussion. But there is no need to do it in an offensive way. You are branded a troll because you are voicing your opinion in such an offensive way as to get a negative reaction from people.

I had many others that i either traded in or sold to friends. Those games being:

• Mario Galaxy (amazing, but 1 playthru enough)
• Metroid Prime 3 (reason i bought the wii, along with TP...however i was very disappointed)
• Elebits
• Okami
• Mario Strikers Charged
• Excite Truck
• Zelda: TP (first game, mildly disappointed)

In the end, its a very good console that i can see people appreciating...but im done with supporting this console. I own and will never sell my NES, SNES, N64, GCN and DS...but the Wii has been lacking software that i enjoy. Plus, i dont have time anymore to devote the same amount of hours i used to, to gaming. 360 keeps me happy, PS3 is my bluray player and thats it...i would have happily sold my Ps3 over my Wii if bluray players were cheaper.

I want to sell mine too since I already completed Super Mario galaxy ( !00% 2 times ), Metroid Prime 3 ( 100% 2 times too ), Zelda TP ( 100% ), Super Paper Mario, SSBB,etc.

People really are too quick to sell things. I can't stand the "THIS DOESNT ENTERTAIN ME ANYMORE I MUST SELL" mentality.

I have sold my fair share of games recently, but out of my approximately 300 games it didn't really make a dent. I made sure to keep any game that I even remotely enjoyed. Can you honestly tell me you didn't even remotely enjoy Super Mario Galaxy?

Selling your wii's aye?...I admit this year was a little bad for the wii...A lot of watered down third party games...But next year 09. There is going to be some awesome games for the hardcore gamer. Here is a list. If you don't like any of these games or you think most are all of these games look bad then you are liening or just a fanboy.

I understand where you are coming from though. I bought wii for mario and zelda games but after those games are over I want some hardcore games! Wii was not doing that and I thought about switching over to sony since Nintendo and sony are my to favorite console companies. But wii's next year line up looks good for the hardcore gamers. I understand if you still want to switch because ps3 and or 360 may have more shooters/Hardcore games to your apeal but wii is gona have a lot also next year.

Also, read theTerms of Usethat you agreed to when you registered your account. It explicitly says that you can't use the word gay in a derogatory way. And don't use the "I meant happy!" excuse. We're not stupid.

And yes, it is censorship. Gamespot has the right to censor user-created content if it breaks the rules that have been established. In your case, you broke a very clear rule. And like Quofan said, you can disagree with people, but you can't do it in a way that is intended solely to annoy or offend other users (trolling), or in a way that brings consoles other than the Wii into the discussion (we created the System Wars forum for that type of discussion, and topicality is strictly enforced here). Use tact. Follow that simple rule, and people might actually listen to what you have to say.
