This is even more off-topic than this off-topic thread, but AG, you need to update your blog by sharing with us your SNES collection...also, add a "Top 10 SNES Games" section on it.
That is all.
I dont have a SNES collection... but my NES collection has grown since I posted the blog...Ive gotten several games, an NES Top Loader, and there is guy I should buy a U-Force from off of craigs list here pretty soon.Ive been tempted several times to get a SNES collection going but heck my Wii collection has already taken a pretty big hit from what it would be if I didnt spend so much of my spending cash on NES stuff.
I got incredibly lucky with my SNES collection. My dad worked at a thrift store for a while, and basically he got first dibs on anything that came into the store. One day, I was working, and my dad called me with the following message: "[Insert my real name here], there are a bunch of Super Nintendo games here, I put them on hold for you."
So, after telling my boss that I felt sick, I headed over to the store, only to find that there were 30 SNES games (still in their boxes), just wating for me to pick them up.
I paid a total of $40 for the lot, which included the games, 2 systems and 4 controllers. Best "collectors" day of my life.
But back on off-topic, SNES games actually have a better dollar-per-game average than NES games. I highly recommend starting a collection, even if you're strapped for cash. It'll be worth it in the long run.
Thanks but no thanks bob... I already have a good collection of NES stuff and I would rather be the master of one trade than a Jack of all trades... I do buy SNES stuff, Atari stuff, and any other video game stuff I find pretty cheap but I usually just trade it to game stores or collectors for more NES stuff.
