It seems like I remember reading that there was some kind of extension for the sensor bar so that you can play the Wii at a further distance. My couch is just out of reach of the sensor bar on my TV and I was hoping there was a way to get a better sensor bar that was stronger.

I believe that BestBuy and WalMart both sell a sensor bar capable of playing 30 ft. away.

There are a few third party sensor bars which are brighter than the included one. There are also DIY guides to build one yourself.
