I've been out of touch with the DS forums lately, we all agree though that the Sept. 29th announcement of a price and release date probably means a North American and Japan release date of fall right?
Coz why announce the date in Sept 2010 if its coming March 2011?
Its probably hitting in Late Oct, or Mid November

I hope your logic is right, buddy :DThat's what I think will happen. Late Oct - mid Nov. And I'm glad everyone likes the countdown. :DI've been out of touch with the DS forums lately, we all agree though that the Sept. 29th announcement of a price and release date probably means a North American and Japan release date of fall right?

mostly likely it will be a november release for NA and Japan whilst us from the Uk will probably get it in march :(
In general everything seems to come in November if they're able to. Nintendo is no stranger to giving a half cocked launch, IMO DS released with just Mario 64 but castlevania and advance wars were there shortly after and had plenty of good after but started out with virtually nothing. With all the great titles mentioned at E3 I wouldn't mind not having everything at launch as long as I got to start playing with some of it right away, I'd love something like the Metroid demo for DS to come along with this. Maybe they could give us a Star Fox demo?
Yeah I know, but a few people had requested it, and I like playing around with code. And like I said, this will automatically switch to the launch countdown once the release date is announced. :-)I always like count downs for good stuff but a count down until another count down seems a little over the top.

[QUOTE="CyberKlown28"]Cool! Thanks, I'll put it in my sig on the other forum I go to ^_^ Once the september 29th announcement happens, will you make another for countdown to launch? o.oGoldfishDaveYeah, I'll be able to change a couple lines of code, and the image will automatically change to a launch countdown. :-) I. Love. You.
Nintendo typically launches first in the Asian region, then EU then NA. Hopefully, they will be smarter about this launch than past DS launches and have a world wide launch for the 3DS, instead of region by region. Lebowski__basicThat's not true. The Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS launched in North America before Japan. Nintendo only launches iterations (like the DSi XL) in Japan before other places (and even that's not the case 100% of the time).

Um the DS came out in North America first, then Japan, then EU.
I'm more interested in september 18th. :P Besides, this is just the countdown to the countdown, waiting to know how long you'll be waiting and all that.

Well the original DS was announced in January, then in about March they had a press conference and it was released in (splitting the difference) December. So...idk, I hope it comes out later so I can actually get it on release day. :/
