The new Mii channel probably.Jaysonguy
That wouldnt be much of a surprise since we already know about that. Anyway Nintendo is holding a conference next week, and supposedly there is suppose to be a surprise announcement in September. HoweverI wouldnt get all hyped up about it.
My bet is on the "Check Mii Out" Channel, but other idea's i have heard(Some are more likely than others):
-A Headset and Introduction of Voice Chat
-An Overhaul of the NWFC getting rid of friendcodes is Favour of a PSN like service in Time for SSBB.(Sounds like wishful thinking)
-New Wii Colour's
-DVD Playback enableling firmware update
-A Limtied SSB Wii that comes with Brawl.
-The Zapper is released for $20 with a free game.
-Annoucment of the Wiilite for only $150.
-Wii Sports Being Discontunied, Wii Play to Replace it in New Wii's.
When did Nintendo say that they had a september surprise. All that I remember them saying is check me out.
Link please

Odds: Well, you have a better chance of winning the lottery (perhaps twice).
The reason being that there are royalties on the MPEG4 movie format; it would cost millions just to enable it on existing Wiis.
Miyomoto steps to the speakers pedestal. "I am here today to inform you of our big september surprise. Today is a great day for Nintendo, or should I say, Microsoft gaming division 3." That would suck!! LOL!!!I want it to be an awesome surprise, but Im trying not to get my hopes up, because it might turn out to be something stupid.

Read my blog entry. One company says that nintendo is using their hardware for a hardrive.umm i know im a noob for saying this but what is the "Check Mii Out" channel?? Scythes777
Well, after thinking about it, it likely one of the Following:
-They Release the Check Mii Out Channel
-We Get the Zappers Release date and if on the game it comes packaged with.
-The Annocement if another Third Party Character for Brawl.
Their conferance is in 3 day's, so we will see.
Guys, Check Mii Out won't be a surprise because we already know about it.
Also, could Nintendo make a headset that doesn't have to plug in to the remote? I'm pretty sure there can be 7 bluetooth things connected to the Wii at one time, so they'd just make the headset not connected to the remote, right?

Right, but I don't know if they'd add something (using a USB port) because if you have 4 users and each has a headset that means someone is gonna be without a headset. 8 users but only 7 points to connect

For games like NBA Live that support 8 player online multiplayer and then Mario Kart and the WW2 shooter that supports over 2 dozen online.
