it looks good and all, im a bit dissapointed (though working well) that the wii remote is like most racers tilting the wiimote nes style. Couldnt they imitate ssx, SSX blur nailed the controls and it felt really good with the nunchuck and wiimote combination. I might get it for the balance board capabilituesgronk-bonk
SSX blur's controls didn't sit well with everyone giving it kinda mixed reviews. So they are probably playing it safe.
The game looks feally fun. I watched some videos and they are right, the game looks great.
I probly won't pick it up soon but I will get it sometime. Nice to see a multiplat do good on the Wii. Just shows with some effort they can be good.
I kinda want to get a Wii balance board to play this, and Skate It.... I just wish it wasn't so expensive. :(epayps2
Yeah... I'd be more excited about this game if it wasn't for that. It still looks good though.

you are wrong, it's not tilted nes style, you point it forward and hold it in one hand.
it only takes easy flicks and responds perfect.
the balance board works great with the game. gamestop had it on wednesday, I have been playing ever since.
8.4 is spot on imho
Thats a pretty high score, but a few days a go they said "Road Trip offers up a fun experience that – aside from the balance board control – doesn't do anything all that new or interesting. It's solid, and young kids will love it, but if you're looking for a fully featured snowboarding game with depth and longevity – the PS3 or 360 is the way to go." - LINK

go to ubi's or gamefaq's forum and read all the 360 owners complaining.
out of three previews I read, there was that one and two other claiming the wii's to be most fun. this review is on the side of the wii iteration also.
it is hard to bring much new to a snowboard game. nailing it is more important. this game nailed it.
