if they make shenmue 3 at all it will be on the 360 i'm sure.kidrock17xp
If I'm not mistaken, Shenmue 2 didn't sell all that well on the original Xbox. So 360 might not be the most optimal system for the franchise.
Here is an article on why it should come to the Wii.

My thing is Saga and Nintindo have a good relationship, see Sonic in Brawl and Mario and Sonic game. Shenmue game play will be perfict on Wii. They should just bring out Shenmue 1 and 2 first for about $29.00 and then bring shenmue 3 after that.

To make those titles available to a wider audience. Xbox and Dreamcast both sold pretty poorly. In bringing those games to Wii, they may make the name of the series more well-known.[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="jmizzal"]Here is an article on why it should come to the Wii.

Making a 3rd one would be the best for the fans
I heard that this game franchise was supposed to have 15 chapters...as in 15 sequels! either way, i've heard alot about this game and how its a love it or hate it game similar to killer7. i've wanted to check it out for some time now unfortunately i do not and have not ever owned a dreamcast and buying a xbox sounds like a waste right now.
Note: First time I've heard the term Wiimake.
But the reason a Wiimake/Remake is good. Is it's good advertisement for the Series. A remake if successful could increase the chances of a real sequel.
So I'm all for a Shenmue Wiimake, Crazy Taxi Wiimake, and Space Channel 5 Wiimake. If they give these games their well deserved sequels.

Ports and remakes are less of a risk. The two Shenmue games are the biggest financial flops in gaming history. Making a third one doesn't seem logical.[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="jmizzal"]Here is an article on why it should come to the Wii.

Why would a company spend millions upon millions of dollars on a sequel in a series that has always flopped? I love Shenmue. I'm the leader of a freakin' SEGA Union. But you can't honestly expect SEGA to make Shenmue III.[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"][QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="jmizzal"]Here is an article on why it should come to the Wii.

We all know they will not make the effort to improve the graphics and the controls will just be translated from buttons so it will be unwieldy. We all have seen this happen dozens of times and we all know at best it will be a mediocre experience.
I dont get why Sega and so many other either make mini games or watered down ports.

How do you know what SEGA would do? You don't. Who are you to say how they would handle the ports if they made them? Yu Suzuki was the man behind Shenmue, and he still works at SEGA. He is one of the most respected men in the history of the video game industry and has never had his name attatched to a game of sub-par quality. And "so many minigames"? Two games. One of them (Monkey Ball) is one of the highest-rated games from the Wii launch, and it comes from one of SEGA's most beloved franchises. Mario and Sonic is the other. Why did they make this one? Well, let's see... you have the two most recognizable icons in video game history and the world largest sporting event... hmm... They made it so they could make money. Money which will be spent on the development of other games. And what ports? House of the Dead 2&3 Returns will be the first. Do some research before you post.

I saiid Sega and OTHER COMPANIES. Both games are good but are still nothing special, according to you Sega has made so many amazinggames, why cant they make some of those amazing games on Wii? They have put more effort on on PS3 and 360 games and all of those games have been failures.

Nintendo didn't get their Wii development kits out to third party developers until early this year. Before that, third parties were working with modified Gamecube kits. It takes about one yearto develop most games. I don't see how you can't understand this. "They have put more effort on on PS3 and 360 games and all of those games have been failures." All of these are current-generation games. They were either published or developed by SEGA, and they are listed with their Gamerankings average. The higher score was taken for multiplatform games. My point is these games are not selling well. Sega's games ARE selling well on Wii but they show no signs of making these amazing games you talk about on Wii. It looks like we will get more games that lack depth.
My point stands that Sega should be increasing the quality of games but they show no signs at all of doing that. Until they do I think they are being lazy.

SEGA is doing us an amazing favor by giving us sequels for Wii.

well see I really hope they. I know Nights looks okay but neither of these games ar ebing done by Team Sonic they are being done by Gearbox and a team from Sega.
Still those are two games with not alot of hype behind them not much of an effort.

Yep Shenmue was really about its graphical prowess, the gameplay was clunky in all honesty so with the look and number of things possible on screen in mind 360 = no brainer.
