Hey guys,

My old DS's battery dies out quickly for some reason. I'm not sure if it's because of overcharging or being overused but I'm wondering how to fix it. Do I need to buy a new battery pack?

it has just been charged a lot of times so now your battery life is short. Just buy a new DS battery from a store, to replace it, to get longer battery life again.

No I do not think so. You will need an Original DS battery.

Sounds like an overcharged or faulty battery to me. I'm still getting a good 6-10 hours play time from my battery, the 6 being the rough time if i'm wifi connected. Still it sounds like you did the right thing anyhow.
