They haven't officially announced the "Tegra", so go for the DSi XL. Also, for those who are confused, he's reffering to the rumors about a new DS with an Nvidia Tegra chipset.
I would probably wait to see if Nintendo has gone Apple on us and started releasing the same thing with no worthwhile reason to upgrade.forgot_it
Oh wait.

Lol, can't stand it when companies do this...in the end they end up losing my business >_>.
Well, from what I've read, there isn't much of a difference besides the chip, a larger screen, and a thinner device.

The chip's fairly powerful, it would be able to take any game on the market now and display it on the smaller screen.
The true question is, how much memory will the diskettes hold? Will companies be able to compress their games into it or will things have to be cut?
MPEG 4 made a lot of what's on the DS possible, with HVC on the way a lot of the audio cuts may be avoidable. This new standard is what I believe is holding up the new handheld's arrival (it's only behind a year), which is likely why we saw all those leaks of the two-laser storage systems Nintendo invested in during the meantime.
