I love all the Resident Evil games and i love Umbrella Chronicles. The graphics are great better than 4, Rail shooters are very fun and so is this. UC is also very long for a Rail Shooter like 15 levels with different paths to go in each, plus you have to find and collect papers and things that describe Umbrellas past. And their are a lot of guns to collect and with the co-op id say its a definate buy.

Ignore the score. The game kicks ass, especially for RE fans. And don't just rent it - it's actually a pretty lengthy game!

Um yeah, you could beat it in three hours if you just run once through the main levels and stop. But you obviously ignored all the extra levels (like the Wesker and Rebecca missions) that more than double the length of the game. To do all that would take a bare minimum of about 6 hours, if you take the average length of a level to be 15 minutes. Plus, all the levels are worth going back to in order to pick up the hidden documents that fill in the RE storyline.

So yeah, it's much longer than 3 hours. Even the reviewers that gave it low scores didn't say it was that short.

So I overexagerated, but it is one of the shortest games I've ever played.

It's very fun to go back to levels with new/upgraded guns and try to get higher ranks (which will allow you to further upgrade your guns) and to find all the hidden items (trust me, there's no way you'll find them all the first time through). Plus, co-op is a blast, so it's always fun to play through again when you have people over.

If you truely are a fan, then go for it. The little side story extras are nice.

Chances are, if it's divided into missions, the replay value is pretty good. There's some exceptions, but not many.

You can:

Get rankings in Easy, Normal, and Hard mode

Unlock and upgrade weapons RE4 stlye

Play through again to play a different route, or find secret rooms

Break lots of stuff to find Notes, Memos, and other RE series writings

Two player mode

Sub Missions to unlock

You can also use two wiimotes at the same time to kill baddies

I say buy it. Sure its like a 15-20 minute level of shooting, but its damn good. If you like on rail shooters like House of the Dead it is a must have.
