Should I buy a Wii now?

I am a huge Nintendo fan and I have already decided that I will buy a Wii. It's just when I should buy one. I have the money so thats not a problem. I have heard lots of people complaining about the Wii not having enough good games yet so I was thinking about waiting to buy one when SSBB comes out. I bought SSBM with my GC and I played for like half a year before buying a new GC game. I would also like to have a different colored Wii with a DVD player but I am not completely sure if the rumours are true. There are some games that I would like to play (Wii Sports, Wii play, Zelda: TP, Zelda Alttp, WarioWare and Rayman) but I know that I will feel really bad if I the DVD version comes out and I buy a Wii now(I always want to have the best of everything).
