should i buy a Wii or a DS

I've already asked this question in the Wii forum but i wanna ask here aswell. Should i buy a Wii or DS? (Ive got a 360 and still play my 64 at home) Im not sure what will be better. Ive played DS and liked it but i havent played Wii yet. You'd think i'd get the DS coz ive already got 2 consoles at home but im still not sure plz help me out!

I think you need to ask yourself do you need another console or a new handheld gaming device?

If you posted this question already in the Wii forums what did everyone say? Get a Wii. So if you post this question here what do you think people will say?

Both are great machines but I think the DS is a bit more established. The Wii has potential but it needs a bit more time to show what it's truely able to do.

I'd say the DS, like the previous poster said, it's established. There are lots of good/great games for the DS. Speaking for myself I'd say the Wii got like 2 games I would get... Zelda twilight princess and Zelda Ocarina of time(virtual console), and that's not reason enough to buy a console.

Buy a DS now and buy a wii next year when there are more titles out...

As the previous poster hinted at : they are two completely different consoles, geared at different consumers.  Personally, I'd go for the DS, since it's been out longer and had time to build up a decent amount of games in its humongous library today.

The Wii is still an infant : give it time to grow up its repertoire of games before giving it a go.  The XBox360 already has a good lineup of games now (and in the future) to be played at home, the Wii can wait until then.   As for handhelds, the DS wins hands down.  You can never go wrong with purchasing the DS first, whereas the Wii...well...as I've said, you already got a next gen console : can't you wait just a little longer? lol.

Seeing as how you are in the ds forum what do you think people will say,hmm.Seriously though if you can,get both.You can't go wrong because by the end of the year there will be great titles for both systems.

The wii doesn't have much out right now so I'd say the DS first if you plan on getting both eventually.
