Should I buy MP3 even though I haven't beaten the first two games?

The thing is I have 61 GC games, including the the first two Metroid Prime games. I try not to play games while during school, because I'm crazy busy. I've only played maybe one third of these games (not including the Ps2 and Wii games I have aswell) and have played though about 50% of the first Metroid Prime game.

Well I was just wondering if I should buy MP3 now or wait until I beat the first two and get the third when it lowers in price.

I was wondering what other people would do in my situation.

Thanks for the feedback

It really is up to you. Would you rather beat the first 2 games before moving on to Corruption or do you really want to play Corruption first. Personally I don't see Wii games, at least those developed/published by Nintendo to drop in price any time soon. On top of the fact that Corruption is pretty short, and the fact that the story in Corruption doesn't require you to play through the first two games makes me think you should just go ahead and purchase Corruption.

Oh yha you should play non-stop during holidays and finish some of those games as well.

shadowlink797 is right; it's going to be a long time before we see price drop on the Wii or any of it's games. As for your question, I guess you could buy MP3, but you will be lost when it comes to the story. Then again, the Metroid games storyline was never to strong to begin with... although the Prime games have been interesting. If it were me, I'd play the first two first. It'll make the conclusion of MP3 much more satisfying.

I see no reason to pay full price for something if you don't need it right now. Finish up some of those other games... seeming you have 40 or so games to go before you really run out of something else to play it might have dropped price by then. If not, nothing lost, it will still be on the shelf when you get around to it (or at worst case ebay).

MP3 doesn't require past knowledge to be enjoyed and if you already have part 1 and 2, you might as well wait until you can afford 3. Plus, I don't think you'll want to play MP1 or 2 after playing 3 because the controls are so revolutionary in the Wii game.

Well actually the majority of games I buy are used and I've bought them recently (within the past 2 years). So other then Twilight Princess and Resident Evil ,4 I bought all my games at less then $30. Sometimes as low as $10!! You just have to know where to look for good videogame deals.

Very insightful!! You're very true when it comes to Nintendo developed games not dropping in price, but that doesn't necessarily apply to all wii games. Here are the wii games I've gotten used for cheap:

Marvel Ultimate Alliance- $22

Rayman RR- $15

Red Steel- $15 (If it wasn't so low I wouldn't have even considered buying it)

SSX- $15

The Godfather- $15

Tiger Woods 07- $20

Trauma Center- $22

Ya I know these prices are crazy!!! Well at Blockbusters in Canada right now they have a 25% off all used games. So this means $30 games are -$7 and $20 games are -$5

Amen! To go one step further I end up only buying one or two video games at a time that I 'need' to play. Then I have to finish onebefore I'll let myself buy another one.
