Should i buy my girlfriend a Wii?

Her birthday is coming up and i was wondering if i should invest in this console? she hassaid she wants one on a couple occasions but will it actually keep her interested for the long term?

or is the console a play once then get over it deal?

Anyways yea I have owned a wii from launch but the major issue is lack of good games and when there is a good one you have to fork out $60+ depending on location so if your already into next gen gaming and stuff with a 360 or a ps3 then you should already be used to game price tags. If not you may buy one vary few and apart. I notice most females just play wii sports and do teh whole "omg I love the wii" but it gets old fast imo. Its only really good when they play in periods of like 1-3 times a week or when friends are over. Other then that its not worth it unless you have some games that intrest you on the machine.

Just got Metriod prime 3 for christmas and it sparked a tiny bit of hope that there could be alot better games out there for the wii one day.

You can buy the Wiipoints card at any places that you can buy video games stuff. The VC is working by downloading old games from the NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Turbografx, Turbografx-CD and Neo Geo on the shop channel.

New games are added on Mondays.

depends on how long you been going out if its been less than 5 months dont bother , no offense you never know what the future holds, if its been close to a year go for it because you guys have more common things you can do together with wii and talk about, and she will love cuz u paid so much she will think you are investing in your relationship and want her for the future, some along that crap girls are always telling me lol but its a good ideablack_ice23

I agree. If you love her and you know you two will go really far together, then get her one. I always thought the Wii is the best present ever to someone, because if I were to give a Wii to my friend, I'm pretty sure they'll be damn grateful. Yes, she'll see it as a sort of investment to the relationship whereas you would spend money on her and I bet she knows how much it costs.

Also, if a girl hints on what she wants (ex: She saw a certain necklace in a store), then you'll be a good boyfriend and buyit for her. Always makes them happy.

Mario Sunshine is a Gamecube game, I think you mean Galaxy.
