If you aren't sure, don't buy it. If you have to think about "Hmm do I really want this?" for a console you shouldn't get it.

I say buy the Wii. But that it is just my opinion. It would all depend on what type of gamer you are. If you want a new way to play games get the Wii. Here are some good games for it:

Metroid Prime 3, Legend of Zelda TP, Resident Evil 4, Wario Ware, Wii Sports and etc...

Coming Soon: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and etc...

100% agree. It's a $250 console, not a used game or something.

Buy it. There are enough good games already. Zelda and Metroid top the list, and the Mario big hitters haven't come out yet.

All depends. I'm actually having a real good time with the VC playing games I missed out when I was a kid. Ninja Gaiden, Super Metroid, Gun Star Hero. This pretty much cements my opinion that 3d killed video games. If your not interested in the classics and dont want to see what the weather is in Papateete(dudes I been wathching this Island since augest it never gets above 79 or below 70) I would tell you to sit and wait and see if anything on the wii really speaks to you. If nothing grabs you then you probally shouldnt get one just yet.

Wii doesn't have really to many good games quite yet. To me they only got metal slug, wario ware(fun for a week or two), and Resident Evil 4. I havn't played the new metriod, but I hate the 3d metriods so thats my opinion. I also think that Twilight Princess is the worst Zelda ever made(don't mention CDI because those arn't made by nintendo and chances are you havn't played them.) Mario is slowly deteriorating with each platformer he makes, but I'll definitley be grabbing galaxy when it comes out. Pretty much if you don't like Mario games don't get a Wii because thats all it's really got.

I like the virtual console, but some of the old games that people said were awesome were kinda over hyped. I figure they only like the games because of childhood memories because I'm the same way. such games that I think arn't as great as they say would be Act Raiser and Kid Icarus. My favorites ToeJam and Earl but the slow pace and funky chill feel might not be worthy of the gunslingin boys of today.

I actually just decided on getting a 360 over PS3 for what some would say obvious reasons, but I looked beyond the haters of PS3 and figured I'd just beat the few games it has when I visit my Bro during school breaks.

Anyways get what you want, it's not like a bunch of kids on a game forum will have much power over ya, but video reviews just may.
