I bought it as my first game, and I still play it. That was over a month ago. It really depends how often you play it. A few solid hours a day is good. You can have up to three dogs in your house to look after, which means plenty of training and competitions between them. You get more breeds as you progress, and can have up to eight dogs max (which is quite the amount of playing time to get them all to the finals of their competitions respectively). I suppose maybe it is the fact I love animals, and work with animals that I love this game. But it is always fun to come home, or even after having a bad day, and pop in Nintendogs and see three wagging tails and three cute faces happy you turned your DS on.

i know alot of people don't like it but i do.

Nintendogs really isn't so bad. It does get boring if you play too much a day, so i say around 10mins to 1hour+ would be a good time.

It really depends, if you never advance in your game and just keep petting your dog, nothing will ever happen and you'll get bored. atleast i found it fun to teach my dogs tricks.

i advise you to get it if you can get it at around 20 bucks.

It's a good game but if it's your first and only game like it was mine you'll get bored with it easily. Now I have a bunch of other games and I hardly play it at all.

I recommend buying Nintendogs if you are like me, that plays your Nintendo DS between classes. That means that plays in intervals of 15 min to 1 hour. Nintendogs is not a game to be playing for to many hours since is boring and repetitive. But in few dosis is a great game. It remembers me of my dog which I cant see her for every three weeks when I go home from university life.

But if you are looking for a good game to play also between classes or small intervals get Elite Beat Agents. That game is freaking adictive! Ahh that and Meteos will always be played in my DS until a new system goes out.

it depends if you're into simulated animal games. if you are get it. if you're not and you want to try it then get it. if you're just curious don't.
