Now i know these consoles are pretty out of date (PSvita 3ds) but they are still really good consoles. I found a website which sells DSI for?64.99 and the PSP 2000 for?54.99. I won't get the PSP just because its cheaper i wan't to know pros and cons of both please thanks. PM for website address! (It's a UK company too FREE delivery)

System Wars might be a better place for this topic. I love both PSP and DS, but if I had to choose between them I would go DS. But here is another way to look at it: 3DS plays all DS games, whereas Vita only plays (some) downloadable PSP games. So you could get the PSP now and build a sizeable library of used PSP games for cheap. Then when you are ready to upgrade to an eighth generation machine you can get a 3DS, at which point both the entire DS library and entire 3DS library become available.

I'd vote that too. 3ds is my fav, but psp games look beautiful on the vitas screen.

If you are short on cash, grab a ds lite, they can be as cheap as $35 and play GBA games. Save up for a 3ds in the meantime. The PSP is extremely cheap, sounds fishy to me.

If you want to play Game Boy Advance games, you can't actually use GBA cartridges in a 3DS, but what you can do is just download the games off the Nintendo shop using your 3DS. The games would actually come out cheaper that way and you don't have any boxes or cartidges to worry about losing. Not only that, but there are also a lot of much older Game Boy, Game Boy Color and NES games to be downloaded through the Nintendo shop. You are going to spend more if you buy a 3DS, but you can shave off some dollars by buying a 3DS in used condition on Amazon. I recently got one with a great deal, so I'm happy with it. It's overall a better value.

The Vita is way too pricey at the moment so I wouldn't go there, and I feel like buying a PSP would set you back. If I were you, I'd save up an extra hundred bucks and just go with a 3DS. The Vita's price isn't going to match the 3DS for a long while (I'd expect like in at least 3 years or more). I mean, it won't kill you if you don't have this system tomorrow, so I'd just advise you to be patient. With the $35 people say you can buy a regular DS for, you can use that money for like 7 or so games on the Nintendo Shop with a 3DS.

I have a similar dilemma, only a bit bigger... Wise people told me some wise words - buy the console which has a game library that willmeet your expectations.

Why don't you bring your topic in System Wars?
