Write why you feel like I or anyone else should get a Wii U. I want one but I am also debating whether to get one or not. Thanks in advance!

Well, do the games on the Wii U interrest you? that should be the sole factor.
I really like my Wii U, some of the best games of this generation resides on that console. I have been surprised by the pro controller, I generally find the tablet pad thingie fiarly useful (been taking it with me into the bedroom lately to play the LoZ games from first to last they have on the platform :P, really nice).
The disk noise from the console could get on my nerves in the beginning, but not sure if it really quited Down or I simple stopped noticing.
Most importantly: It is the only console that has honest to good local co-op in acceptable measures. So if you have a gf or better half, it is quite easy to get them to pay with you.
I think you'll like Mario Kart 8. Just a hunch. :P
But yeah, no one can recommend it if your don't specify what you're interested in. We can say that Bayonetta 2 is a must-buy, but maybe you're not a fan of hack-and-slash games. Go look at its current library and upcoming games. If there is at least 5 games you are interested in buying, get a Wii U.
WiiU is a japanese game console...do you like games from japan?
monster hunter 3 ultimate
hyrule warriors
bayonetta 2
smash bros
mario kart
captain graphics...i mean..cpt toad
some good stuff....
not to mention windwaker HD and pikmin 3
its also the home for sonic.... sonic in smash/lost world/sonic boom/sonic racing transformed
family fun games...like mario 3d world and new super mario bros U
not to mention the virtual console...nes/snes/gameboy advance games all with off tv support.
Wii U is 2 consoles in one. Full Backwards Compatibility. It has free online and has the lowest price. Its worth its price on so many levels.
I have a PS4 and a Wii U and the Wii U gets a lot of play. The PS4 is collecting dust. Nintendo always puts out fun games that remind me of why I got into gaming in the first place.
My whole list of games I want lately are coming from Nintendo. Sony is the place I get my free games. Nintendo are the games I'm willing to pay for and that I can justify spending my money on.
They always have a slow start. They take their time, but I truly believe they always deliver.
Many are blind because they are too focused on graphics wars. The graphics on Wii U work great for all their unique offerings, and everything I take to play on it is an absolute blast to play.
If you don't mind the family-friendly nature of their games and just focus on having fun, then it is a perfect purchase. They are slowly making a comeback with the Wii U, I feel.
I've been thinking about getting a Wii U, too! I'm currently working on a game that's going to be released for the console, and wish to get into what sets it apart from the others. And of course, have fun:-)
For me it's all about the games. I'm a big platforming games fan, like the new Rayman! But are there many other titles that are similar?
Well, for starters it has :
So far the ps4 and Xb1 can't compete with it, except for hype.
Do the games look like you'll enjoy them? Is the price for them ok for you? get it
For me personal, Nintendoland alone justified the price of the launch system alone. I can't count the hours of fun I had with friends with it
@Vaffeldamen: Wii U has a solid collection of platforming games. I highly recommend looking into New Super Mario Bros U, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and the fantastic games that are backwards compatible from Wii like DKC Returns and both Mario Galaxy games.
