Man! I got so lucky last night! I was actually out looking for an N64 and went to Gamestop on the off chance they would have one. Well, they didn't of course but someone had just returned a Wii that was used maybe once and was bought one day before! I bought it and only have Wii sports but I can tell you I am impressed! I can't believe how nice the controls are for the motion sensoring! It's sweet!
Now to your problem... I would check Wal-Mart because a couple of days ago they had five! It was just a random day too. If you really really can't wait go the Ebay route but I think you could come across one at more of a big store like Wal-Mart or K-Mart if you just keep checking.Â

Don't check every day. Waste of time. Toys r us gets large shipments on sunday. Just call your nearest store and ask when the next sunday shipment will arive. Get there early, like before 7am.

EBgames.com has some bundles for sale right now. They have 3 different bundles available at around $500 and they ship tomorrow. So that's an option if you don't mind getting a bundle.

Read the first two sentences of your post. I was like "WTF?" but then I was like "Ohhhh."
...And of course check Amazon from time to time. So far, they've had Wiis in stock twice this week, and once the week before. I don't recall the date for the prior week, but this week the sale times were Wednesday at 12:30pm PST and then, as previously stated, this morning (10:30am PST). They go by fast though! (I'd just missed the Wednesday sale)
