Ok ive been planning to get a 360 from the day it came out. The games looked awesome and i was just waiting for that price to drop (we get so ripped off here in Aus).

Now i know that the 360's price isnt going to drop anytime soon and ive been really interested by the Wii. I just want to know if the wii will be able to satisfy a gamer who was looking forward to titles like halo 3 and mass effect.

Also could you recommend any Wii games that i would enjoy (other than zelda as thats a given).

im NOT just looking for games like that im REALLy interested in the Wii and the reason ive made this post is because ive decided that i dont want to drop $650 on a console Plus more for games etc. when a wii has the potential to be so much more fun for only $400

hmm... well, I still think that Metroid Prime is basically the same as Halo, but for the 360 more of these types of games will come out. So I don't know. If you don't like Nintendo games, there is no reason at all to buy Wii, in my opinion.

Ive been a nintendo fan up until the gamecube when i turned to the xbox but now im really interested in the wii but im hoping it is still gooing to have more games like metroid and red steel and zelda for example instead of warioware and disney adventures for example

At least this year you'll get those cool games. Super Smash, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime (even if I personally don't like it much).

ok...no...I have to argue this, Metroid prime is not even BASICALLY like Halo Sure they're both Aliens and guns, but Metroid is completely different, Halo is just your shooter, Metroid is like....puzzling shooter,

I'm thinking that you're more into the mature games, so....I dunno, most the mature games coming out for the Wii look alright, if you like Resident Evil, they're making an exclusive for the Wii, but not the main one... Other games you might wanna look out for are Project HAMMER, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Godfather, Manhunt?, ....Smash bros?...I dunno...this upcoming month for the Wii is kinda dry for your tastes (mario party 8, Cooking Mama, Sonic)

Both are good, but Wii is gooder (more fun, whatever).
