I have the original DS system and the buttons are getting worn out so I was thinking of selling it to Gamestop and buying a new DS Lite. I would like to know how much I could possiably get for my original DS and If I should spend It on a new DS Lite or wait to get the DSI. All help is appreciated THANKS:D

I would sell your old DS if its getting old, but if you can find another place to trade in your DS, trade it there because Gamestop probably won't give you very much for it. Answering your second question, I would go ahead and wait for the DSi because it will be an improved model over the DS lite.

Trade in your old DS for a new DS lite, since we aren't sure when the DSi will be coming out in the USA, but we do know for sure it won't be able to play GBA games. Plus I saw at my Gamestop, if you trade in a old GBA or DS for a new one, the new one ends up costing something like $89.99. That's a pretty good deal. Keep that in mind.

If you don't care for GBA games, you can choose to wait for the DSi or get a new DS. I don't think you'd get a lot for your original version. Probably about $20.

Get the DSlite, the DSi is pointless, you get all that extra functions but with less battery life, simply pointless. That device's not matured yet, you cant exploit all the potentials, you know what i mean.
