Why not do a wii make of it, surely that would fill a void until we got a better wii Starwars game?

I guess they could, but the Star Wars product has been injured pretty badly, and I don't feel confident in buying just anything from LucasArts anymore...

idk how the console version of outcast did, but from looking at PC version controls, i dont think the light sabre control will work after all, it is an FPS in its backbone.

No, why not just make a new Star Wars game? One with Motion Plus for sure.

Konata, I agree that they shouldn't bring it to Wii, but for different reasons. If I remember correctly, they already released Jedi Outcast for Gamecube, I don't want another port, especially since this game is REALLY old now, I played it on my PC and it looks pretty dated now. I'd rather see a brand new Star Wars title that featured MotionPlus controls that would make my Wii asplode because of the awesomeness.

If anything I want a new Star Wars game with Motion+. But if they were doing a remake I would rather them do Jedi Knight 3. Not 2. Jedi Academy owns Jedi Outcast.

I have Jedi Outcast for GC and to be honest it would take a lot of work to be good on the Wii.

The game has a really awkward and fast pace, coupled with essentially escort missions or speed runs for the main mission. While the deathmatch would never work being online (yeah I know that wouldn't really happen anyway) because so much is dependant on split-second calculations of split-second attacks.

I can't see this game being made without nearly every part being slowed down, and that's just not what I want to see.

Fair enough. I also enjoy them both but I did prefer Outcast.

Having read I, Jedi which the BEST Star Wars novel ever, and where Luke starts the Jedi Academy on Yavvin 4, you'd think Academy would be my fav, but it didn't feel as solid to me. Still great though.
