Title QFT.
Sorry about that. Siblings just aren't always that bright.
Once my brother erased my file on Ty The Tasmanian Tiger for the GC. That was one of my favorite games of that era, and I was pretty mad then. I would suggest teaching your brother (and any other siblings) how menu screens work on games, and how to not erase or save over them. After I taught my brother that, he never erased anything of mine again. He did erase his own Yoshi's Island DS data, but that's his own game so it's not my problem. :P
Hopefully you will be able to get your game data back after a little play, and I hope everything works out.
That's why when I buy a DS game, I do not let my brother play it. If he wants to play it so badly, he can buy his own copy. Even if the specific game has more than one save file.
As for consoles, I let him play only if he has his own memory card or profile (Xbox) to save things under.
My sister once saved over my Pokemon Diamond file which really pissed me off, so I just try and hide My DS in my room whenever I leave the house
lol im the youngest in my family , but then its my older sister who saves over my stuff or plays on my saves , like in Assassin's Creed she just wanted to ride on horses and stuff , next thing i no it im like (2000 metres miles) or wat eva away from my target , but then again she says ur 11 u shouldnt be playing games like this
