But what if its like Wii Sports with athletic events? That might be pretty cool.

The game sounds fine to me but its definitely the wrong choice for Mario and Sonic as a partnership.

I just wish Nintendo would hurry up and confirm Sonic for Brawl. And for all the naysayers, Sonic is a superstar characterhas been a huge part of Nintendo history. Plus he'd be in a game that doesn't suck or be mediocre.

It sounds cool, and if it is done well it could be a great game.

I see only one problem. Miyamoto is the supervisor. Whist usualy this would be an excelent thing, I am sure nintendo have an agreement with the olympic commitee about releasing the game before the olympic games - and that isnt how miyamoto works.

He is a perfectionist, he spends alot of time perfecting his games, and they often get delayed to make them perfect. He once said "A delayed game is eventually good; a bad game is bad forever". He cannot do this on this project, so I can see this being his worst game ever.

Yes. Think about it. A game that has Kirby, Yoshi, a few Pokemon, and others, with the most "realistic" characters being ones that are from games in fantasy settings. A talking hedgehog would fit in more than Snake.

Its not the fact that sonic would be much of a bad idea to put in brawl, but they couldnt really give him enough moves to be in the game... I mean all sonic does 100% of the time is run fast and do his lil ball attack. I never seen sonic once use his fist to hit something... EndlessPunisher

I wonder how people felt about Captain Falcon when he was announced. I mean, all he did was drive... Sonic has more moves than he did. They could give him a version of the homing attack. They could give him... I don't know, maybe the attacks that he had in his older fighting games? Nintendo is a creative company, I'm sure that they'd look at his games, and come up with moves that fit his character. After all, they did it with Captain Falcon.

Anyway, I'm not sure about this game. It could be really good or could be really bad. I will have to wait and see, but I'm a bit skeptical. I hope that they do pull it off though.

the olympics are way differnt than wii sports

yea and duckman sonic fits in waaaaaaay better then snake. he has been part of nintendo for a while an snake comes from a franchise of games dealing with shooting people and blowing things up. not your typical brawl character....
