Thats youtube, its much better quality if you watch it on like Gametrailers and I thought the song was good and fitting for whats happening in the trailer. It sort of reminds me of Snake Eater.

umm what does this have to do with re4? first of all re4 is a action game, while this is a "survival" horror, 2nd in re4 you have pretty much shooting power while here the only thing to shoot is well, a picture with your phone :) By the way the main character in shaterd memories is the ugliest thing ever, skiny frightened nerd!
And honestly, im really not happy at all that he doesent do any knid of a combat, traps, pick up throw items etc, whats the point of just pushing off and running away all the time, you cant push and out run evereyone, are there boss battles? how does he fight with them?

I doubt there will be boss battles, it would defeat the whole purpose of the game. That would be like Leon running from the Ganados but fighting Salazar and Krauser. This is about psychological horror not fighting a bunch of monsters horror.
I'm very excited for this game, but that trailer was horrible imo. I didn't mind the music, but whoever put this together, I have a question. What in the world was the point you were trying to get accross?
I think the point was the shattered memories, I think the title of the game is suppose to be a play on all the different possible outcomes of the game, and since it appears to be him telling it to a pyschiatrist, its a shattered memory. The trailer was showing the differences that can exist in the game and of course Harry's screwed up memory at the moment.

I still think it's on the sloppy side though. Makes me wonder what they'll use for a tv spot (if they do)

RE4 is a third person action horror game. I said it was a good compliment as they are both very dynamic horror games. And yes RE4 is still has horror in it.
I haven't played any Silent Hill games, so please forgive my ignorance. But, I just have to ask. What is it about this game makes it GOOD? I've seen a number of SH:SM videos and I'm just not seeing what all the excitement is about.
Majority of what I've seen are just cutscenes. The few actual gameplay footage looks dull. It doesn't seem like there a lot of stuff happening. You're just walking around an empty environment by yourself. Looking at or picking up items here and there. Enemies are rare or non-existent. So, what do you do in the game exactly? Do you solve environmental puzzles? Is it an adventure game of some sort? What is its main gameplay element?

Silent Hill games are about the story and the characters. It's all about the athmosphere. There is no combat in Shattered Memories, in a way it's a "true" survival horror game. You just run away from the monsters.
