Since the Wii U has no cube support..

Will you keep your Wii? I will because Nintendo takes way too long putting good games on virtual console and plus they will be overpriced

I keep all my consoles. They all still work, from the gbc to N64 to gamecube to my favorite system.wiifan001

if there are no controller adaptors...to use my original n64/nes/snes controllers on WiiU then i will keep my wii just for my virtual console..

wiiU will have gamecube games for download so gamecube is covered on wiiU.

I usually keep my old consoles, even if I can play it on the latest. I find it runs so much smoother, and well... I like to keep it. Unfortunately my brother sold my 2 gamecubes (thats right, 2! Each I got for $60 :P) and half of my games to get his stupid xbox 360... still angry about that....

Anyway, of course I'll keep my Wii. Because a) I like to collect my consoles and b) how else will I be able to play my old games? Why would I buy the ones at virtual console when I already have a perfectly good copy of the origina game.\

edit: Oh and I LOVE my super nintendo =) I wish they made more of these awesome 2D games...

um maybe because nes/snes/genesis/n64 games look garbage on a HDTV? and there is no pause resume feature on those real consoles..

Yeah I generally keep all the consoles that I buy.

Man, I don't get it. $3-$4 for Game Boy games, and $5-$6 for GBC games is over priced? Are you kidding me? That is so much better than NES/SNES VC pricing.

I mean, go to any c(lassic) used games store and you're going to pay at least triple that in most cases for an original copy.

I would keep my Wii coz I'm sure all our VC/WiiWare stuff will transfer, but it will probably be a silly transfer method like the DSiWare to 3DS where it requires both your DSi and your 3DS.

I'd just use my old Cube, and if I didn't have a Cube I'd buy one for $20

I've pretty much gotten everything I needed out of the Cube, and I think its pretty odd to feel entitled to Cube support in a console a generation separated in 2012.

I'll gladly re-purchase certain Cube games when they hit the Wii U eShop (You know its got to be one store for both the 3DS/Wii U this time) if they support 1920x1080, and get added features like online multiplayer (not likely, but a faint, distant hope)

How does you owning a Cube, 64, and Wii correlate to you not wanting to buy a Wii U in general?

its worth it to me...i love having a retro virtual collection..that i can play on my hdtv.

i just paid some guy 70$ to make me a turbografx16 controller modded for the virtual console :P

when my mom gave away my SNES to my cousin (i wasnt at home at the time) i was enraged. i was so angry for like a month at her. oh well she made up for it by buying the wii for me and many games too lol.
