Besides the cheesy anime cut-scenes, the game play for sky crawlers looks to be top notch with some interesting controls that make you feel like you're in the cockpit.

*reads second paragraph* oh-kaaaaay.... that's one creepy story O_o the standard control probably doesn't work so well... i mean, the nunchuck barely has enough sensors to be accurate. and i still want an ace combat game for the wii that uses wiimote and motion+ to turn the wiimote into a flight stick.BrunoBRS
Me too. WM+ is perfect for flight stick controls. It's how i would want starfox to control.
Still, sky crawlers is only using the nunchuck's tilt sensor...which is the only part of the nunchuck that works 100%. So, it should be fine.
I'm always up for a good combat flight sim, but yeah what's with that story? It sounds like some hideous fussion of Aname and flight combat.
Its based on an anime movie, but what I find strange is the controls choice. I guess they were going for immersion since a flight sticks triggers are on top like the nunchuk, but the wiimote is obviously more accurate than the nunchuk.I'm always up for a good combat flight sim, but yeah what's with that story? Man, this looks so good. Can't wait to pick it up.:D
And like Matt, I really hope they have an option to have Japanese dubs with English subs if the voicework isn't as good as they had hoped. To be honest, I think I'm actually expecting a very cinematic experience, something I thought I'd never ask for from a game like this.:P

For tilt, the only thing this game is doing with the nunchuck, they're equal.
