Yes, a smash bros 3DS would be awesome no doubt. There are man games I want to see on the 3DS, but lets start with Namco releasing Tales of The Abyss in NA!
I didn't think of that, but it wouldnt be as bad as you make it out to be.The only way there would be room on the screen would be with 2 players only. And that would be awful. That is one of the countless reasons why this game should never never ever happen

You are so wrong mr. TINGLE. You cant compare it to a tv screen. When a game is made into a ds, everything is made a lot smaller to fit to screen.
I just dont get the people, who says that smash bros. wouldnt work on a handheld console.

Well of course it would but we are still dealing with a 3ish inch screen. The details would have to be almost noexistent and the stadges very small. (good bye temple) Also the very best part of all the SSB games are playing with friends in the same room you can't do that on any handheld
^ What do you mean you can't play with friends in the same room on a handheld?lizzie1238
It's possible, but you will need 2 or more 3DS's rather than another controller. Controllers will be much more affordable than a 3DS.
If SSB goes to the 3DS, then all its focus will be on Online Play. It won't be a party fighter anymore.

I know what you mean, but in most cases I have experienced, my friends have the same console or whatnot, so they all have their own handheld and such.

But Nintendo doesn't focus ever on Online play. It wouldn't work and needing 4 games and 43DS would cost almost $1000

Lol, I hear ya still, but you act as if the $1000 is coming out of ONE persons pocket. Handhelds are like social devices, such as the pokemon community. Many gamers have it, and can play with whoever on the fly, whether it is online (which Nintendo is trying to make better then before) or Lan. I understand some of the concerns with Smash Bros DS, but seeing as to how Mario Kart DS is my favorite Mario Kart and all my friends have it, I really enjoyed it and so would I SSB.
