A F'ing MASTER PIECE! .... I just wanted to say that ;)
And Brawl right behind it, or next to it. I've been on a Nintendo binj lately ;P

I put a lof of hours into Melee, but i think we are going to put a lot more into Brawl, we just can't get enough of this game, even if we stop by a couple of weeks we always come back for more.
Sadly, one time we tried to go back to Melee, didn't turn out well.

Oh don't get me wrong, Brawl does have it's advantages over Melee. But there's just SOMETHING about Melee....
I read an article about the the people who made Melee, and they said it was a GRUELINg process. At the time, Nintendo prob worked them to the bone to have the better looking game out there, because thats what it was all about back then. I don't know if the characters are slightly more animated or something, or something is tricking my mind, but Melee is just a masterpeiece! 8D
I don't know why, but i'm just having this HUGE Smash Bros. kick right now! Unfortunately my Wii broke down not too long ago... (first Nintendo system to ever do that, I'm very disappointed). I've had it since day 1, but that shouldnt matter. But anyway, for some reason, you can't save your data from most Wi-Fi games on Wii, so I wasn't able to save Brawl onto my SD card... VERY sad. SO many hours put into it... BUT, in a way, it's kinda good because I get it play it from the start again, and I'm remembering JUST how amazing Sub Space Embasy is and stuff.
The Smash Bros. IP is just a MASTERPIECE! heheh ;)
Both of those game are strong contenders for the greatest fighting games ever (and yes Super Smash Brothers is a fighting game).
Oh, Melle... what good times. I'll never forget it, and all the hours I played with friends!
BTW, does anyone know about the Turnip Black Hole glitch? It's hilarious.
[QUOTE="sarentack"]but their is times where response is not there between controller and console like a delay at times, even on wireless controller its actually worse with the delayJuarN18i never had that problem :?: its quite hard to explain, could be being SSBB was dual layered I dunno. But compare the reaction and movement time to melee, Melee was right on par with what controls you did, Brawl it was off enough to where you had to readjust slightly. Its definately more noticeable online.
I DEFfff wouldn't say Brawl is a "mess" lolol. Brawl is awesome. playing Subspace Embacy again is amazing, and the game is just as good or BETTER then Melee.
Although, Melee DOES have a certain something that avoids it from being cast a shadow over by Brawl. Melee for me was just... MIND BLOWING. I remember going to a event Nintendo heald in NYC, before GameCube came out. The first time I put a GC controller in my hand... it was like touching heavon.... and Melee was just LIGHTYEARs evolved from the original Smash. It was just a beautiful time in games all togehter.
I could def say, I have reason to go back and play all three Smash Bros.
Yup, Melee is a masterpiece. But I think Brawl managed to improve on it even more, not by much though. But melee was already just about perfect I think, so there wasn't much to improve on.
