yea its a fact that snake doesnt have his guns in this game

but seriously, aside from not being bloody and having funny looking weapons and stages, SSB games are MASTERPIECES! These games escape the traditional street fighter type of fighting game and makes fighting games all about timing and placement rather than mashing buttons to do combos. This series is a precedent in gaming. Therefore, putting Snake in one of these games is an honour to the MGS series IMO.

I don't mean to be nitpicking but the Street Fighter series is very much about timing and placement and in games like Street Fighter 3 : Third Strike, button mashing practically doesn't exist.Benisato

exactly it has a lot to do with timing in street fighter to be able to parry that. I've never played smash brothers though so I really shouldn't be comparing. I heard it's much more about fun than skill.Benisato

At first glance, smash brothers looks like a simple party game. In fact, if you get a whole bunch of friends together to play who don't spend time with it, that is exactly what it is. But, try taking on someone who plays constantly and you'll find there's much more involved. Timing and combos in melee are essential to playing well along with knowing environments and reading other players. If you have the Wii, pick up one or two gamecube controllers and a copy of melee. You'll find out what I'm talking about. If you like streetfighter, then you'll love melee.

ye, that's my fav fighting game. it has soo much depth inside so cos of it i cant play games like smash brothers cos it's too
