no because it wouldnt be up to the caliber of the console version and would just bomb bringing the franchise with it. Plus nintendo would implement some half *** stylus control options and it would be a horrible gameRuhdezee
The DS is a console!
Nintendo didn't implement any stylus control to Mario Kart DS.
YES! they could use the touch screen for final smashedwardorito
Oh GOD, I hope not. The final smash is the biggest pile of "wait... what the HELL!?" to hit ssb EVER.
yes , it's the only game i want to be made on DS. I would buy it first day , full price. it could be the best nintendo game ever. just needs ranks and leaderboards in on-line play, and its portable.
and DS has better graphics than n64 , and n64 had a smash game so ds could do it.
AND its 2D so DS could make it look awesome and could control it awesome - ly
and to people saying "noz smash DS wouud suxerz, brawl wud be way beteerzzz"
you could say that about all games on any handheld console, that home console games are better, it doesn't Matter!, their not expected to be as good. they are portable and fun and that is the point.
not to outdo the home console games.
The Nintendo DS is not a console. Stop saying it is. Even Nintendo's website has it listed as handheld system.
Second, this has been discussed many times. Once again, it won't work on the DS. People need to understand that in the weird scheme of life there are some limitations on things in life. As much as I love my Nintendo DS as the next person, it does have it's limits with SSB being out of it's reach.
What's so bad?
Let me put it in this perspective. Rock Band for 360/PS3 was a great game. When Nintendo Wii users wanted it, it had to be "scaled" or "watered" down to work on the "limited" performance on the Wii.
i.e. No custom characters
i.e. No world tour mode
i.e. No DLC.
Now, take that perspective and try to fit a massive game like SSB or SSBB onto a handheld unit. You see my point. One word: limitations. SSB SSBB were made for consoles. Why would you want to chop up the game to fit it onto a handheld?

Agreed. It's a great game, I just don't think it should be on the DS.
If it did happen, I can see a lot of people being pretty disappointed with it.
