SMG 2 storyline + rosalina?

So we've seen all the trailers and gameplay, we have a release date, but whats the storyline? I'm only worried that it might be identical to the first. Knowing Nintendo though, they'll make an awesome storyline that, maybe, just might even make you cry, (I was touched in the first storyline when i read through the book in the observatory library).

Also, what about Rosalina? She made a good atmosphere for the game and I think she will make a return.

SMG has a plot? Seriously, they said there would be less focus on plot this time around. Its a Mario game.

Doubt it, SMG 2 doesnt even have a hub sadly :( I thought it added to every game since the castle in SM64, but now its just got the SMB styled world selection.

Doubt it, SMG 2 doesnt even have a hub sadly :( I thought it added to every game since the castle in SM64, but now its just got the SMB styled world selection.

You are kidding me right, I have given you a screenshot that clearly shows the games level selection screen, were it a new series id say ok maybe its just a prototype, does that not look like what we are used to in 2D mario games? or no I spent today perfected a photoshop picture.....

I heard that this time Princess peach kidnaps bowser because she's going to community college and taking "psychology of heroes 101" and is trying to prove that a true hero will rescue anyone, not just ditsy blonde princesses. Bowser kidnaps Peach on a really short cutscene and before you know it you are playing the game's first level. That is how Mario storylines need to be done.
