I can and have snaked, but found it boring and stupid. I can still beat snakers though. It's a question of saving the right items until the last run. Also consantly choose Rainbow Road, silly newb snakers keep falling off there.
If it hurts you're doing it wrong probably And if you can't' deal with snakers make some friends that don't snake and play with them, no one wants to hear you complain about snaking we've been listening to it since the game came out in 2005...
snaking is for F******* P****** that aren't good enough to win by playing the game how it's meant to be played. The really sad thing is when you do beat a snaker, the majority hack and lock up the game. I am 84 and 36 since I bought the game in November and only drift in the corners. Come get some.
How is it cheating? Its a gameplay mechanic that anyone can learn to use. Its skill based. Darthmatt
The fun of Mario Kart is that its basically a pick-up-and-play type game. It takes away from the fun when someone is capapble of exploiting a gameplay flaw.

I see nothing wrong with it. If you can perform a skill that others can't then you are better than them. If I takes away from the fun then learn to snake yourself so you can be competitive in races.

Well, seeing how using its the only way to beat some of the impossible time trial scores, its only natural to incorporate it into races to get the fastest time IE win. Its part of the game, and I'm going to use every skill I learn in the game to win a race. Its only cheating if I was doing something no one else was capable of doing, which its not. I dont use it every second because I like to at least race normally, but I will use it when Its needed. I'm not going to hold back just because other racers dont like snaking.

Snaking adds a huge learning curve onto the game, making it not much fun for a casual gamer.

No offense to you, but I chuckled at the threatening language used for Mario Kart. I'm the same though, I've only snaked a couple of times to prove I can and my stats are 43 to 21
Gameplaya123 meant winning at "any" cost which includes cheating. Snaking is considered cheating by half the people who play Mario Kart. Too bad Mario Kart can't have snaking free or snaking only games. As it is, I will never play online again because of this which is no fun for me and the many like me.
