I have never really played any of the games, and since people are praising MPC I was thinking about playing them in order.

Could someone post the order? And do you guys like every game of it?

The order ? It's kinda obvious: Metroid Prime (GCN), Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GCN) and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii).

And yes, I do love all 3.

I played on MP1 and I enjoyed it. I skipped the second one. I'm going to have by the end of the year Metroid Prime 3.

If you didn't, go download Super Metroid.

Yeah I don't really understand your question about the order but yes all three are GREAT! My favorite games of all-time personally. It is possible to play the games in any order and still enjoy them and the story. But I recommend playing them in order. Not only will you get the story in it's proper order but you will also be able to see the series in it's evolution. Corruption is probably the best but it's also the shortest and easiest. The first has the biggest variety and the second is really difficult so beware! All in all play all three. You won't regret it.

What a bunch of jerks. They obviously didn't understand your question. The very beginning of the Metriod timeline starts at:

Metriod: Zero Mission ( Gameboy Advance )

Metriod Prime (Gamecube)

Metriod Prime: Hunters ( Nintendo DS )

Metriod Prime 2: Echoes (Gamecube)

Metriod Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)

Metriod II: The Return of Samus (Original Gameboy)

Metriod 3: Super Metriod ( SNES / Wii Virtual Console )

Metriod 4: Metriod Fusion ( Gameboy Advance )

Metriod: Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metriod, and a better beginning to the series than the original Metriod. I didn't include the original Metriod on the list because Zero Mission basically renders it obsolete. Yet, if you would really like to play it, it is available for the ( NES / Wii Virtual Console ) and a free version of the game comes with Zero Mission and Metriod Prime.

In my opinion, they are all exceptional games. The original Metriod is the hardest to get into. After that, Metriod II, with no maps and nothing really leading the way can be extremely difficult as well. Metriod Prime 2: Echoes is the least favorite of the 3D Metriods, because of it's difficulty and amount of dedication it takes to do well at that game. The best games, in my humble opinion are Super Metriod and the original Metriod Prime. Happy hunting.
