This game was Sooooo short and easy. The bosses were so simple. The final boss which looks like a Vampire in space was pitiful! Is this how all the Kirby games are? When I saw the credits, I saw Miyamoto. I know Miyamoto is the creator of Mario and Zelda. Dose he look down on Kirby? It seems that the Kirby franchise gets the least attention2006dc5
did you find the secrets and the best Kirby game IMO is Kirby Superstar (a.k.a. Kirby's Funpack).
kirby is in my opinion a really easy game. (with hat i`m not saying is a bad one... I used to love playing and getting all the secrets and mixing all the weapons)
But atm the only games I play of kirby are in the DS.. the one on the VC are easy...
I agree with the one above... superstar is pretty fun... and the one on N64 (thus they are as short and as easy... sorry)
Most NES games are short. As for being easy, you haven't cleared it 100% and haven't beaten it on the harder difficulty. Also, kirby is loved because of it's simple fun game mechanics. Kirby was created much later was never a pack-in game and didn't do anything particularly new. It's launch was among a sea of other NES titles and didn't really stand out as much as Mario or Zelda. That being said, HAL does great things and I don't think Miyamoto has any less love for Kirby than for Zelda or Mario.
If you don't dig it, thats ok. People have different tastes. Personally, I think Kirby is a better platformer than 90% of what's out there.
do remember that its an NES game...most of the games when you look back on them they didnt seem too difficult or that they ahd much work put into them when compared to games today. but thats how it was at that point in timeArmoredAshesI think you're over-generalizing NES games. NES games come in all different lengths and difficulties. Plenty of NES games are much harder than the average game today.

I think it is the opposite. Games before were really difficult compared with today's games. Just take a look at Zelda and Metroid for the NES.
BTW, nice quote in your sig.
