Yesterday was my birthday and my parents were going to get me a Wii and Mario Galaxy but they couldn't find any Wiis anywhere. They got me Super Mario Galaxy but I don't have a Wii to play it on until they find one... So my question is, where did all of you buy your Wiis? Btw, my parents don't like buying things online.

Hehe thanks. Anyway, we tried calling Best Buy and Circut City but neither of them got a shipment this week yet. Circut City says they get them on Firday and Best Buy said they get them anytime from Monday through Friday. It's rediculous, how fast the Wiis sell out right after a store gets a shipment of them.
Craigslist might be your best bet. I work at best buy and I can say since Christmas my store, biggest one in western mass, got 35 of them. It's insane. Craigslist or ebay other than that I don't know what to tell you. And I wish I had parents as nice as yours :/
Sykoh, there were a bunch of wiis (40) in my toysrus and in nearly all the toysrus yesterday, they handed out flyers before hand saying they were gona have them in stock, call toysrus and ask them which sunday they will have it since it's ALWAYS sunday, and be prepared to arrive there 2-4 hours before hand. that's what i did, so i could walk home with a wii FORSURE.

Also theres some new thing i think with gamestop or some game store I don't recall that let you buy them and you are guarentee one by a certain date but that is some waiting time.
hmmm when I got home from school in december (not exactly sure what date, but it was close to Christmas) my brother ordered one online at 3:45pm on futureshop.ca =O They had about 300 or so in stock and they sold out in 23 minutes, luckily I got one = ) hmmm you should check out costco, never really hear people rushing to get one from there but if you're lucky, you might be in the store the minute they start stacking them up. It happened to a friend of mine around Christmas time as well.
i lined up the first day it came out at like 10 different stores. didnt get it so next day lined up again and i got it :D

lol man i wish there were 10 of me. I would distract all the lazy best buy employees and get the last one to go get it. Well, now that I think about it, i probably could just walk into the back and take it, considering how much they don't care about anything. but they're weevs and fros
i got my wii about 5 months ago at a fred meyer store and when i got it., they had about 6 more in stock.. i guess that i got lucky.. happy b-day anyways.
get a friend at best buy, or get a job there your self. hide it in the stock room some where. thats how my friend got his. he's currently supervisor of computers.
