I asked a similar question and they told me at this time they can't say.

So now that GS is working with Safari, im back on the forums. Anyway, i emailed nintendo about brawl's online, and heres what i got... me: Will Super Smash Bros. Brawl have online? I look forward to your automated response saying you cant tell me. Cheers!
