Graphics are so good, and Link is too funny. You all dig the game?

haha yes (although it is unrelated to the Wii forums :P). I LOVE zelda games and this one was amazing. It actually had the most problems out of any 3D zelda for ME, but was probably my second favorite 3D zelda. I cannot wait for LoZ: SS to release.

Yeah same here man!

I thought it would be okay to talk about it here, because its Zelda, and you can play it on the Wii...hopefully it's ok.

haha any zelda talk is fine by me! :P. I would play it again soon but I think I will end up playing TP again because I am sure I will be buying a Wii shortly.

When I first played it, borrowed from a friend, I was very reluctant to get into the new style, but it kind of grow deep inside me and when I got it later I fell in love with it It is certainly one of my favorites, except for the Ganon's fight which was a little disappointing for me Regards

Wind Waker was a great change of art style, I wished they would have done others for a console like that, sadly only DS versions.

On my way to get my sister back. I forgot how awesome Link's reactions to everything is. To be honest, seeing this and the new Zelda SS, cannot wait! The colour is blowing my mind!

I agree however, Twilight Princess may be next to play, or Orcarina. Have not decided ha ha!

Love me some Zelda..

SS :). Seriously the art style has grown on me SO much. I am glad it is not completely like WW though as I agree with Aunoma saying it is too fitting for the young link and so on. I think they nailed the art style this time.

Absolutely adore the game UNTIL you have to go searching for all those Triforce shards in the most far off places. Boy, way to kill the pacing of the game :(

I have never played Wind Waker, but I may pick it up sometime at Game Stop. Is it worth it?

I say yes it is. Especially if you REALLY dig Zelda games! Be forewarned however. A lot of people hate the game the first time the start it up, but it grows on you, and becomes a different beast entirely.

My only gripe about the windwaker is that I felt it wasn't as challenging the first time around as Ocarina of time and Majora's mask were for me (maybe because i was alot younger when i first played them :P) and the whole sailing around for triforce shard just wasn't enjoyable and took far too long. Other than that its a fantastic game that everyone should play. Also the Cel-shadded graphics have held up nicely to this day in comparison to other games that came out in 2002/3

People are weird. It was great like all the other 3D zeldas, and if you don't own it you need to be slapped across the face :P.

The graphics were and are awesome, but there's something about the atmosphere that I can't relate to. It's just not what I'd identify Zelda with. I prefer the style of OoT, MM, and TP, not because it's supposedly more 'mature', but because I've always experienced the Zelda universe as a mysterious and dark place, on par with its mythological influences.

Apart from those subjective views, Wind Waker just had poor dungeon design and was an unfinished game. It was still good, great even by normal standards. But by Zelda standards, it wasn't very remarkable when you ignore its presentation.

Yes, this game was amazing. I was just about to start replaying it too! The whole pirates/islands/ocean settings combined with more humor than we've ever since in a Zelda game and the best (IMO) gameplay a Zelda game has ever had is just win.

As great as Wind Waker is (best Zelda game yet, in my opinion), this isn't really the right board to talk about it in. Legacy Platforms would be a better fit for it.
