Me and my bro. have Cerebral Palsy and i was wondering how many games ONLY require the Wiimote?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Besides most of the minigame collections, there's Super Paper Mario, Excite Truck, Sonic, Need for Speed Carbon (in one of its control mode), Mercury Meltdown Revolution, Tiger Woods (I think at least) and I perhaps one or two I've left off. There's also all NES and TG16 titles and most Genesis titles, off of the VC.
Keep in mind though that most of the games I've listed require you to grip the controller with both hands (NES-style).
[QUOTE="themagicbum9720"]if he isn't lying about the games he owns, he doesn't have cerebral palsy. Jaysonguy
I didn't know certain games could tell you that.
Like Tom Clancy games means he has it but Sly Cooper means he doesn't?
Want to elaborate?
if he had cerebral palsy he wouldn't be able to play anything requiring two hands, at least in most cases. his collection says he has games requiring two hands, so we can conclude that he's lying

A friend of mine suffers from cerebral palsy. He still manages to play his playstation 2 and PC games with reasonable success.

So long PS2.... Well my PS2 is gone. I sold it to my friend for $125. Seriously I didn't by many games last gen but this gen Wii is my main console and I didn't really want my PS2 anymore.
I already like my Wii more than my PS2 and it looks like my Gamecube could be next to go. But I doubt it because I rarely sell Nintendo systems. I'm completely Wii focused and even my DS has been shunned for quite some time. I'm looking forward to the new games I'm getting this fall and years to come should be even better.
This is your blog right?, are you lying to us mister?

It's fine. Funny. I've seen the TC's game list and it has lots of 2 handed games but I don't know what that means exactly. Maybe it's harder to play with a Wiimote and Nunchuck than Dual Anologue. :?
Yeah, I was thinkin' the same thing. Maybe he puts the controller on something and puts his hand over it and plays it like a keyboard. Or he's lying.Ok back again, this time with the right one hehe.
Look how many games he owns if you look up his profile, doens't make any sence asking for games that only require the Wii mote ONLY.

Well with a Wii remote and nunchuck you got to do gestures and stuff that requires more movement than just hitting buttons. Maybe he can't multitask the 2 things at once or something.

Or, because the effects of cerebral palsy can vary greatly, he has enough control of his fingers to manipulate the controller buttons, but not enough control for the motion sensing of the Nunchuk.

That's what I was attempting to explain.

Yes, makes sence, maybe you are right. I don't want to act like Kyle Hyde (Hotel Dusk -DS) by making him suspicious or something like that. I rest my case.
Im off to bed, it's 3:52 in the morning here. Later

You worded it better though.
Not all CP is the same for everyone.
I bet the thread creator can use a standard controller with both hands (and maybe resting on something) because that gives him/her the best control possible considering the circumstances.
Since you hold the Wiimote and chuck in each hand maybe they're not able to keep each hand doing each action.
Perfectly reasonable
