Yea that's how I feel; if they add enough new guns and a reasonable amount of extra content I'll definitely be picking it up.

They just need to incorporate the stuff they added for the PS2 version and maybe online play and it should be alright.
I got the original on the game cube. And I think it is the best game released on that system. I played through it about 6 times :D I still like to play it, so I just hope they add all the PS2 extras plus great controls and even more extras :P And not having to pay the full 60 euro price would also be nice. Adding that all up, I will definitely buy it :D
I found the aiming in the original to not be precise, even a little clunky. I will gladly welcome wiimote controls :) And slashing with the knife, fun stuff!
When was this confirmed? I saw rumors about this over the weekend, but no confirmation from Capcom.. not even a comment actually. Anyways, if does turn out to be real I'll buy it. I played the GC version a little bit, but never beat it.
I Rented the GC Version After i got my wii (I only had a Xbox last Gen.) i Loved it, But i could never find it in stores, and on Ebay they are still going for 50$ and up.
I dont care if its a True Wii-Make (Like Godfather was) or a Port with tacked on controls, im Buying it.

Tragically, I sold my GC before it came out, so I never got to play it. So yes, I most definitely will get it, unless it turns out terrible, in which case I'll just buy the GC version.
I completed the original on the Gamecube and really enjoyed it. However, i will wait to see how Capcom utilise the Wii-mote before i buy it again. I think i may just buy the Umbrella Chronicles. However, Resident Evil requires a great deal of accuracy (considering the limited ammo), head shots and the like, and if red steel is anything to go by, i ended up spraying bullets everywhere just to make sure i hit someone! Maybe im just crap at it lol!
