so who is not getting madworld

with all these forums saying "yay madworld omg!!"

i want to know who else other then me has no plans on getting madworld?

it really doesnt look like my kind of game

I honestly think that it looks really boring. Thats just my opinion though.

"Not I," said the Madmangamer. While it's nice to see an original effort on Wii that tries to be better than decent, it's too bad that Madworld is that game that doesn't appeal to my tastes at all. I think the style is creative, but I find the core gameplay to be that I wouldn't enjoy, and the over-the-top violence and foul language would further take away the enjoyment for me. It comes off as one of those games that tries to be so "mature" that it ends up immature in the process. Plus, as great as PlatinumGames' titles have been, none of them have ever stuck me in the same way as a lot of people. This is coming from someone that owns both Viewtiful Joe titles, and while they have their moments, the games aren't my favorites by any meaning of the word.

A lot of respect towards the developer and all, but there's no reason for me to get this game, so I won't. :|

I'm one of those that wasn't all that caught up in the hype due to it not being my type of game. I'm more interested in some of the lesser-hyped games, of which I realized there are quite a lot.

im 18 and i own a wii but i think this game is too over the top and the developers were just trying to hard to make it mature that they went past the mature game to the redicously unessecary game

I'm renting it first. After that i'll decide whether i'll replay it enough for it to be worth purchasing.

The black and white theme kills it for me. There have been a few movies like that which friends claim are awesome, but I can't watch them for more than 20 minutes without totally losing it.

I doubt I'll get it. If I see iton eBayfor cheap(like $15 or less),I might get it though.

Rather than complain about the Wii lacking 3rd party support, I'm going to do my part in communicating to 3rd party developers that I like their work on Wii and I want to see more of it. I'm happy to see a lot of 3rd party support for the Wii this year in 2009!

I love Madworld and would love to get it, however so many games coming out and so many games I could get.

I'm going to get The Conduit Instead, but I do support MadWorld!

I will not be picking up this game, just doesnt look like its gonna be any fun.

I agree 100%, which is why I'm skipping this game as well. I just don't like violence just for violence's sake.

I will not pay 50$ for 5-6 hours of gameplay

I would buy it, but.....

1. My Wii can't read discs (sending it to Nintendo for repair).

2. It's rated M (my parents are strict in terms of game ratings).

I am not for 2 reasons:

1. I had to send my Wii in for repairs and still haven't gotten it back yet.

2. The game looks like a piece of junk. Seriously.

What if you don't end up liking it? then your voting dollars will go towards more games like it that you don't enjoy. The wii will do just fine for good games with people only buying the games they for sure want. this whole movement of people buying this game to try to change the focus of games on the wii is silly. Buy the games you want. Or If you have cash to burn on games you wouldnt normally buy then get another system that caters more to your taste.

This thread is sad and lame. People have been complaining that the Wii has not been getting great hardcore games lately, and now when there is, people are not buying it. You people should support titles like HOTD OK, Conduit and Madworld because that would encourage developers to make great or better quality hardcore games. Well, the people aren't supporting the titles because they are not good games. Sure they are wearing the "hardcore" mask, but when it all comes down to it, a game that lasts 6 hours is not good enough. The Wii should be getting better games but as long as this **** keeps being released, it won't.
