I mostly play rpgs and i was very dissapointed with the lack of rpgs on the 3ds. How come we havent seen a steady rpg increase? Was it all wasted on the ds?
There are a lot of rpgs for the DS and most of the are actually really good. You shouldn't really expect a flood of rpgs on a young system like the 3ds. Give it some time. The DS should suffice

Well the mistake you made was purchasing your system in its first year of release. You are what we call an "early adopter". I do hope next time you'll do your research and not just buy a system as soon as it comes out. Consoles take time to build their massive librays. It doesn't happen overnight. DS had a LONG time to build its library.
It has both Tales of the Abyss and Kingdom Hearts 3D which are both very good. Paper Mario Sticker Star will be coming soon as well. It isn't quite up to the standards set by the DS but it's getting there.
In terms of RPGs, you don't have a lot right now. However Paper Mario Stick Star is coming out this year, Fire Emblem is coming out next year, and there's a good chance that we'll see Bravely Default next year as well.
We already have Devil Survivor Overclocked, Tales of the Abyss, and Kingdom Hearts 3D in the States. By the end of the year, we will likely see Paper Mario, Unchained Blades, and Code of Princess released. By the end of next year, we will probably get Fire Emblem, Bravely Default, Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker, Etrian Odyssey IV, Dragon Quest Monsters 3D, and MAYBE a new Monster Hunter title. Overall with the already confirmed titles the future is looking bright.

There's more to do besides play games. I have so many games to play and not enough time. You people are ridiculous. My 360 has no games, I don't sell it because of that. You people act like little kids.

P'raps I'm getting off topic here, but Wii U's got a hell of a launch line up(as far as we know yet):Assassin's Creed 3, Arkham City:AE, ZombiU, Aliens: Colonial Marines- the list goes on.
