Something I'd like to share w/ you guys who have doubts about Super Mario Galaxy

Any Mario game featuring Sheguru Miyamoto's direction is bound to be awesome no matter what. Miyamoto is by far the superior director/designer @ Nintendo. (when he takes on that role) I can guarantee you guy's that Galaxy is going to have that Miyamoto touch and charm to it. Just trust him. Oh if you want, you can bookmark this thread for future ownage. And I can tell you guys: "I told ya so".;)

Super Mario Bros.: director

Super Mario Bros. 3: director

Mario 64: director

Super Mario Galaxy: even more involved than he was in Mario 64. How can you go wrong w/ that?

Hopes this brings back a little faith to those who are having doubts.

That's exactly the reason why I have doubts about Super Mario Galaxy. It ain't gonna rival Ratchet & Clank Future unless they do something really radical. Mario is the past of platformers, Ratchet and Jak are the current thing, deal with it. Mario got left behind after 64 and has a long way to go to reach where SONY's platformers are right now.

Ratchet & Clank is terrible, I can't stand it, it's generic and boring, and saying Mario is generic is dumb because he has been around for over 20yrs. If anything Ratchet & Clankhave a long way to go before they reach Mario's level. So go home ya Phony Fanboy and get off the Wii forums."I mean Sony" LOL

Ratchet and clank are horrible, I played the demo of the first one, it sucked and I haven't played it since. Jak, on the other hand is a great series, but after the first one I wouldn't call it a platformer, its more of an 3rd person shooter with platforming elements. Mario is the best platformer out there. period.

Yeah Mario 64 revolutionized platformers...then they released ONE sub par game after that in Super Mario Sunshine.

Who the hell cares about ratchet and clank? When they become a household name like Mario is then we can talk.

I like Rachet and Clank but Jak is over with Jak 3. Rachet and Jak can never compete with Mario. nuff said.
