I'm sure that there is a thread like this already, but wat songs are you just dying to rock out to?
Dance Dance- Fall Out Boy
Spin- Taking Back Sunday
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I hope to god those two songs you mentioned aren't in the game.
I'd like:
Hysteria - Muse
The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret or Sick, Sick, Sick- Queens of the Stone Age
Cells - The Servant
VooDoo Child - Jimi Hendrix
Hotel California - The Eagles
Believe - Disturbed
Back in Black - by whoever sung it
Pretty weak list on my part but I haven't been exploring artists as muc. Still, I think these songs would work.
EDIT: Also add Jungle Boogie by Kool and the Gang and Stop by Dope.
By Your Bedside - Vehemence
With A Thousand Words To Say But One - Darkest Hour
Ever Opening Flower - At The Gates
Selkies The Endless Obsession - Between The Buried And Me
Voice Of The Soul - Death
For me I jus want to see better metal songs. I'm tired of alot of the mainstream metal that makes it in.
Man, you have no idea what talent is do you? Those songs are lacking it btw.I'm sure that there is a thread like this already, but wat songs are you just dying to rock out to?

Depends, if it's that death metal then I don't think there'll be much of that. Too much of that wierd demon voice that I hear. And since vocals will be involved in this game, I don't think sounding like a monster while singing would be a fan fav.

While that is true I can only hope they would make some as DLC or someone mods the game.
Heartbreaker-Led Zeppelin
Master of Puppets/Enter Sandman-Metallica
Crawl Through Knives-In Flames
Chop Suey-SOAD
Soothsayer-Buckethead
Sleep now in the Fire-Rage against the Machine
Moth/Revelations-Audioslave
And if they insist on having a British indie band like they had Kaiser Chiefs then either something by the Fratellis or the Kooks.

Yeah I see where you're coming from. Personally, I feel that some good melodic metal songs would be a fun challenge to play on the guitar. I'd like for them to possibly include songs that are focused on one instrument, even if it's just one song for the instruments. Like a good, fast-pace metal song for guitar. A song like Stop by Dope for drums etc...
I was putting in two songs i thought would make sense because of the addition of vocals it would be hard to put in songs that no one could sing to besides, its not a matter of wether or not i have a clue as to what talent is, it's a matter of taste, just because you like something doesnt mean someone else will, the point of thise thread was to exprese your opinions not judge other peoples taste in music
Hysteria is available for download on Rockband.
Anyway, I'd love to see "Time Is Running Out" by Muse, Any song off As Daylight Dies album by Killswitch Engage, "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, anything off of the Ten Thousand Fists album by Disturbed, anything from the Phobia album by Breaking Benjamin, anything from Three Days Grace, and so many others.

Unless Kiss also have a song by the same name, Crazy Train is by Ozzy Osbourne

Thanks for the correction. I was trying to think of the band that did Crazy Train, it was on the tip of my tongue. I just had to guess eventually. Embarrassing:oops:.

Anything from Iron Maiden
Anything from Metallica in the 80's
Anything from Led Zepplin
Anything from AC/DC
Anything from Van Halen
And to that guy who said he'd like to see Fall Out Boy: what are you thinking?

Dude wats wrong with fall out boy and besides im not asking you to agree, just listing the songs you want is enough, yeah im a fan of led zepplin AC/DC and Van Halen just like everyone else but newer songs would also be a nice change of pace.
^Whether you like Fall Out Boy or not, there is no denying their lack of musical talent. Guitar Hero is a game made for songs with interesting guitar parts and impressive instrumental, not hitting on the same note for 3 minutes.
If you want some newer music fine, but FOB isn't suited for this game.
While we're talking about newer music, I'd like to see some music from Airbourne in the game.
Doesn't Remind Me-Audioslave
Welcome Home, The Suffering, Feathers-Coheed and Cambria
Life Is Beautiful-Sixx:A.M
Voodoo Child, Castles Made Of Sand,Purple Haze, All Along The Watch Tower-Hendrix
FFVII Battle Music
and some street fighter 2 tunes re done on a guitar
Since it's Guitar Hero: World Tour (Huge emphasis on World), I'd like to play the following songs:
Go! - FLOW
Asterisk - Orange Range
The WORLD - Nightmare
Ready Steady Go - L'arc En Ciel
Samurai Blue - ZZ
God Knows - Hirano Aya
See thats the kind of response i can appreciate, and while you're right about the guitar thing guitar hero wont be all about guitar parts anymore, I think FOB vocals are fairly easy and interesting so putting them in this installment would make sense, though i would never put them on any of the previous gh games.^Whether you like Fall Out Boy or not, there is no denying their lack of musical talent. Technoweirdo
In that case Ride on Shooting Star by The Pillows would have to be added to my list
If there's an emphasis on the "world" then there could be:
In Nomine... by Adagio (France)
This Will Never End by Blind Guardian (Germany)
Through Osiris' Eyes by Pagan's Mind (Norway)
The Final Overture by Anubis Gate (Denmark)
Bye Bye Beautiful by Nightwish (Finland)
Bone Marrow - Protest The Hero
Sequoia Throne - Protest The Hero
Goddess Gagged - Protest The Hero
The Running Free - Coheed and Cambria
No World For Tomorrow - Coheed and Cambria
Afterlife - Avenged Sevenfold
Betrayed - Avenged Sevenfold
All those.. lol.
I would like to see Alex Chilton by the Replacements and Starship Trooper by Yes for sure on the new Guitar Hero. Are you Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz would be awesome in my opinion too, but I think that might be on there since it was featured in the trailer. Others would be Paranoid Android by Radiohead, Goliath by the Mars Volta, Venus by Television (or anything by them), One-Armed Scissor by At the Drive-in, among others.
Iron maiden: aces high and fear of the dark
Muse: Hysteria, Time is running out
Avenged Sevenfold: Afterlife, Bat country
System of a down: Question!, chop suey!, sugar
Eric Clapton: Layla
Ozzy Osbourne: Crazy Train
Coheed and Cambria: Welcome Home (i know its on rock band)
Oomph!: Augen auf (german)
and some led zeppelin

Deliver Us - Darkest Hour
Tunguska - Darkest Hour
Eye Of The Storm - Killswitch Engage
This Lying World - Unearth

I agree with you on it needing newer bands, I'm sick of all the classic rock and regualar old alternative. I despise Fall Out Boy, but I'd like to see some more Fall of Troy and Protest the Hero. Between the Buried and Me, The Receiving End of Sirens, PsyOpus :)

If contemporary music wasn't so horrible, we wouldn't have to have primarily classic rock in these games.

I love all of the bands you mentioned and have been listening to them religously since I was a kid, but what exactly is wrong with Fall Out Boy? Iron Maiden is one of my all time favorite bands, but even I can still admit that FOB is a good band. I even own one of FOB's albums. You just sound like an insecure fanboy who can't think for himself. Wake up, there's more out there then 80's metal... =/
