I'm not one for review scores, but I know some of you are. So here you go.

Nintendo Magazines won't rate it as high as any Mario Kart game because they are Nintendo. To be fair though Mario Kart isawesome in multiplayer this doesn't look as impressive.
[QUOTE="DraugenCP"]I doubt it. They kept comparing it to Mario Kart which I expected.Seems decent enough. I'm a bit surprised Nintendo Official Magazine gave the lowest grade here, though.

Well, I suspect them of giving higher overall scores to games solely because they are out on a Nintendo console. I don't really have evidence of this, but whenever I check for Wii games on Gamerankings, Official Nintendo Magazine gives one of the highest, if not the highest score.
[QUOTE="alphamale1989"]Kinda off topic, but too bad we just get Miis when XBOX gets Banjo. Couldn't they at least have done Mario, Link or something? Theguy56Link would be awesome but I doubt Nintendo would place their characters in a game competing with their own kart racer. Oh right... I though it would be a no brainer since Nintendo wants strong 3rd party titles, but yeah that makes sense. I guess it's not a big deal though, this game's still gonna be awesome! :)
The 360 demo seemed a bit underwhelming. Not bad, but not $60 worthy. I doubt the Wii version is any better.
It was never gonna match Mario Kart in terms of multiplayer and fun.

So far from what I've played it's exceeded Mario Kart
Instead of putting around on a kart you're using the OutRun engine to actually drive fast. The power ups are more sophisticated then Mario Kart allowing things like rockets to be detonated by the user allowing for team oriented gameplay, something that Mario Kart is unable to have at all.
It plays nothig like Mario Kart and that's a good thing, there's already other Kart racers out there besides Mario
This is a racing game and a fantastic one at that

No
This has been asked before and the most logical one(s) are the Rabbids
They would have done the most good since they're one of the most high profile characters the Wii has and the highest ones since the Wii launched

no they are not sega so it be stupid to have them in the game at least jack is sega published game only on the wii[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="elbert_b_23"] what they should have done was added jack from madworld in the wii oneelbert_b_23

There are zero reasons to put an obscure character that no one knows in the game
The Rabbids on the other hand are popular and have literally millions of fans on the Wii
As far as being a property of Sega that doesn't matter, we've seen cross promotion done many times on the Wii and this would be no different.
So yes, for the best possible outcome you add the Rabbids if you're going to add anyone to the roster, they would do the most good

its sega they are about obscure characters, amigo for one had 2 bad selling games and in 2 sega mix games, then randomly having the dwarf from golden ax in tennis gamei lost my launch midnight copy of Mario Kart, i'll get this on 360 if it turns out good
i hope so, demo is fun enough, i'm gonna rent it first day
i love a good kart racer

Why would anyone want Jack? The character id like to see would be the almighty bayonetta, she may make the DLC list coming to Xbox live so yay for me!

I'd have Mario Kart over this any day the curcuits don't seem as awesome as Bowsers Castle.
Jaysonguy
This is better so if you want the game that's not as good more power to you
i have to agree with jason for once this game will easily be betterYeah, let's call a game better before it's even come out, great idea.
If it is indeed going to be better than MKW, which I doubt, this might become my fav game of the gen. It will not only depend on the controls and the gameplay itself, but also on the content when it comes to modes, options, online, and stats. MKW finally was the Mario Kart game I had been dreaming off ever since MK64, and I've spent well over 400 hours on it so far. If Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing even gets a quarter of that gameplay, it would be a rock solid game.
I'm gonna try and pre-order it this week. Oh, and seeing as noone answered my question, I'll ask it again: is it known whether or not the Wii version will support traditional control methods?

Lots of people have been playing it for almost a week now
The demo or the actual game?
Demo, which has all the upgrades and power ups, 8 different racers, and one track
So yeah, people have been playing it and it's not a Mario Kart clone and overall the game is better
