Sonic Colors is looking pretty good though I dont get how that guy playing got a Rank S.And Sonic the Hedgehog 4 looks weird to me cause like the speed doesn't look really all that fast but i'll wait for reviews to see if i'll give it a chance and spend 10-20 bucks that it most likely cost.
In the interview on Gametrailers one of the designers said the running animation is still going to be redone.
It hadn't been redone in time for e3.
The graphics for the game look good. Not just good, but really really good. On Nintendo Level. I have ready only positive things about Sonic Colors, and IGN said they are more excited about it than Sonic 4.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 better be as amazing as its predecessors, I understand it'll never compete with them in our hearts, but if the level design and the legacy is done justice, no reason why it can't be an instant classic!Scandals123
i am sone waht strange. i dont like the old sonic games (or that many sonic games in general, i like Secret rings because it feels like a racing game though). i have played a lot of the older games, even owning them on mulitple systems (Mega Drive sonic 1 2 and 3) and on XBLA. I just dont find much gameplay in them.
I said it. The gameplay footage proves it. Sonic Colours is the great return to form for Sonic. It's looking fantastic. Sonic 4 on the other hand isn't looking that great. It looks like a great game on its own merits, but as a sequel to Sonic & Knuckles it looks pretty disappointing. It will be a fun game but I've just got to try not to compare it to Sonic 3 & Knuckles so much. Still, maybe they'll fix the issues before release anyway.
I gotta say that at first I was very excited about Sonic 4, but upon watching these gameplay clips, my excitement level has indeeddecreased a tad.To me it looks like prettylazy effort by Sega, where they just tookthe same generic ideas from theoriginal game, and simply jazzed it up a bit with a new attack move and some fancier graphics. Why on earth they'd use the exact same first boss battle as the one from the original Sonic game is beyond me...
Why did Sonic keep uncurling in the air? I hope it was something the guy was pressing and not what automatically happens.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 looks pretty clunky to me. Something about it just seems off... And Sonic Colors looks surprisingly good.

I understand what you mean, but then again, Mario IMOhas been using basically the same platforming formula since 64 spiced up with some new bells and whistles, and today his games are amazing. And Bowser has been the main boss for a few decades. Maybe Sega going back to the basics is what is desperately needed for a Sonic revival, even if it means re-using ideas and locals from the first Genesis Sonic.
